This is a picture I took and want to use for this project. I used flash to light up the statues and it ended up making them look like ghosts. This is part of the Korean War Memorial in DC.

I took this on a ferris wheel to get the best perspective on the fair. (It was the Minnesota State Fair) I think the combined sunset and bright colors of the rides give the picture a summery/happy feeling.

This is part of the WORLD_Dis/ORDER series by Christian Ruhm. He layers multiple exposures on top of each other to create a distortion reminiscent of fisheye photography.

I took this picture a while ago, and I still really like it. Since I haven't seen it in a while, I see a lot of things that could be fixed about it. I think it needs a crop to get rid of the extra space at the bottom and make the tone less red.
I shot it totally by chance with my old horrible canon (I am still surprised it came out this well) after it had rained all day.

This is "The Young Dr. No" by Ralf Brueck. He uses photo shop to drag the "DNA" of the image or create a "barcode." I really want to learn/know how to do this but the technique is so new that no one else knows how to do it.

Julian Schratter

This is part of Schratter's series "Elie Tahari Spring Lookbook." I like this picture because of the looks of anticipation (before a runway walk). In the series, he focused mainly on the models when they were backstage, rather than taking the conventional runway shots.
